Other skills and experience:
I have worked for over a decade with such animation and graphics packages as Dreamweaver, Flash and the Adobe Creative Suites; I have also designed using Quark and Illustrator; whilst working part time, I have been further developing my skills in a broad range of Adobe products and related design topics, availing myself of the online instruction offered in Adobe's web-based self-study courses and virtual labs; I have been using Final Cut Pro since Sept 2006, am working on all Final Cut Pro packages, and am proficient on DVD Studio Pro; I have taken on a lot of freelance editing work (see above) and am continuing to develop my skills.
I have created three of my own websites using Dreamweaver. My degree show work at Central St Martins (University of the Arts, London) and my subsequent design work are showcased on my website, http://www.twistedlittledreams.com. and http://www.idonthaveorgans.com
I have also given regular assistance to others by designing large parts of their websites, for example the academic website at http://www.crimeculture.com
I have helped others to master web-design software (e.g., helping students whilst at St Martin’s and staff in the Dept of English & Creative Writing at Lancaster University with Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe software).
On the basis of my degree show work, I have been invited to contribute to http://www.wirelessace.com, which is a mobile phone content website; to the Australian-born NOISE festival, a media arts festival for talented young people aged 25 and under, which showcases young artist’s creativity via mass media – television, radio, online and print; and to art-s-talker.
